Phi Theta Kappa chapter wins regional awards

Students in Seattle Central’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) brought home eight awards at the honor society’s regional conference in Tacoma where students from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Canada and Washington represented their chapters. In addition to taking first place as the region’s distinguished chapter, Seattle Central won several awards for student research and service projects. Two of the chapter’s leaders were also ranked as distinguished officers in both the region and the nation. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for students in two-year colleges and academic programs.
