College hosts Tunisian students as part of State Department program

International Education Programs (IEP) is hosting two Tunisian students this year as part of a U.S. Department of State program that brings students from the North African country of Tunisia to pursue computer science certificates at U.S. community colleges.

Fadwa Gemiden and Ghofran Louhaichi, who will stay here for nine months, will use their Seattle Central education and training to launch careers back home.

Seattle Central is one of only 13 schools in the United States selected to participate in this program, and this is the second year the college was chosen as a host school for these students.
