Completion coaches launch mobile graduation stations
As commencement approaches, the college’s two Project Finish Line Completion Coaches are hitting the road to equip students with the resources they need to graduate. Over the last several weeks, they have connected with hundreds of students at a mobile graduation station in campus common areas, including 250 in the first three days. During the sessions, the students, who might not otherwise have contacted advising or counseling, drop by to discuss their academic progress. The coaches run degree audits, verify credit loads and help with graduation applications and cap-and-gown forms. Coaches also refer students to student services for further support that will help them finish their degrees.
