Message from the President about upcoming 50th event
Each year for the last five decades, Seattle Central has been a place where people are able to transform their lives in a relatively short period of time. Provided they are willing to work hard, our students can learn new skills in fields such as Healthcare, Information Technology, Creative Arts and more, which provide a path to a better future for themselves and their families.
As we continue Seattle Central’s 50th anniversary celebration, I believe it is fitting to call attention to the process of transformation that takes place on our campus each day. That is why we are calling our next 50th event, “Central to Transformation.”
This professional networking and career exploration event is designed to connect current and prospective students with professionals in a variety of fields, who can provide valuable career advice and direction.
As a professional dedicated to providing access to higher education, I have witnessed firsthand many students’ remarkable transformations. And I can honestly say that no one does it alone; they had help along the way by those in a position to pay it forward. Please consider donating your time and expertise to support our students; I know they will benefit immeasurably. You can learn more about the event by reviewing the information sheet (PDF).
Thank you for all you do to support our college and our students. On behalf of the Seattle Central community, I wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season.
Sincerely,
Sheila Edwards Lange, Ph.D.
President
