School of Apparel Design and Development to host a panel on new trends in Seattle fashion
In recent years, Seattle has become known hub for innovation in aerospace, technology and coffee and this inventive spirit has also generated fertile ground for a new trends in fashion. On February 6, the Seattle Central College School of Apparel Design & Development’s Innovation Series will host a panel on these changes in the fashion industry called Finding Fashion — A New Look at Seattle Design.
The panel will feature Aykut Ozen designer of handmade leather goods, Suk Chai, woman’s luxury clothing designer and Martina Brimmer, designer of hand-crafted bicycle panniers. At 6p.m., just before the panel, a reception with wine and appetizers will be held. Tickets are $15 and are available here.
