Preservation Carpentry Class Planned

The Wood Technology Center is offering an 18 credit short-term certificate in remodeling and preservation this summer starting June 24. The new certificate program also can be the first step for students to pursue a certificate in carpentry or an associate’s degree at Seattle Central.

The Wood Tech Center is partnering with 4Culture who recently launched Vets Restore, an initiative that will offer support systems for returning veterans who are interested in preservation carpentry.

Other 4Culture partners include King County Veterans Program and Historic Seattle.
