Annual Tool Swap at Seattle Central Community College’s Wood Technology Center
This weekend is the one many woodworkers, builders and home-improvement fans look forward to all year: The annual Tool Swap at Seattle Central Community College’s Wood Technology Center.
While it is the Wood Technology Center’s 23rd annual tool swap, it will be the first time the event has been held on its newly remodeled and expanded campus. The student-sponsored event gives hobbyists and professionals alike a chance to explore and shop, or sell or barter their own tools.
Lie-Nielsen Toolworks, Inc., the renowned tool crafters based out of Maine, will also visit the campus Friday, Feb. 22 as part of a nation-wide tour.
Both events, which in the past have attracted woodworking aficionados from all over the state, will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and are free to the public.
The Wood Technology Center is located at 2310 S. Lane Street in Seattle, 98144. On-site parking is available.
