Special guest, the very popular DJ Fernando (a Seattle Central graduate) comes out of retirement to spin the best of salsa, cumbia, bachata, and merengue. Dance lessons included!

About Mano a Mano
Mano a Mano is a student organization founded in 2003 to encourage and support higher education in the Hispanic/Latino(a) community. Mano a Mano is concerned with issues such as information and access to education as well as dropout rates and financial need among Hispanic/Latino(a) youth, including undocumented students. Its main strategies are outreach, scholarships, and mentorship. Mano a Mano works closely with Seattle Central Community College administration to organize and present outreach activities and raise scholarship funds. The group has established an endowment fund, which currently stands at more than $60,000, to provide scholarships for entering Hispanic/Latino(a) students. Thus far, three students have received full-year tuition scholarships, and several others have received partial awards.
