Spaces still available in Sustainable Building Advisor program

Scholarship Deadline Extended to Sept 24

The Sustainable Building Advisor (SBA) program at Seattle Central Community College has a rare, few spaces available for this fall’s course, which begins October 1st.

Applications are also still being accepted for the Peng Sustainability Scholarship. The scholarship provides s funds for an individual from an under-represented group to participate in and benefit from the SBA program.

An SBA information session will be hosted from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, September 22nd at Seattle Central Community College, Room 1139, 1701 Broadway.

The program is a 9-month certificate training course and exam that originated at Seattle Central Community College 12 years ago. It is now part of nationwide professional certification program for Sustainable Building Advisors offered at over 25 schools with over 1000 graduates to date. Graduates are working on sustainable building in fields such as architecture, construction, engineering, facility management, resource conservation, real estate, research, education, PR, and the non-profit sector.
