$400,000 in Scholarships Awards
Congratulations to the 160 students who received more than $400,000 in scholarships during the 34th annual Scholarship Award Ceremony on Oct. 17, 2012. President Paul Killpatrick welcomed the standing room only crowd to the awards and reception at Broadway Performance Hall.
Keynotes were given by Student Body President Najwa Alsheikh, Nate Miles, Eli Lilly & Co. corporate Director of State Government Affairs, Northwestern U.S. and Central student William Smith.
The event was sponsored by the Seattle Central Community College Foundation and coordinated by Lauren Guzauskas, associate director of development.
