Nursing Program to admit students in Winter Quarter
Students interested in applying for the Nursing program can now enroll in Winter Quarter. With approval from The Washington Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, the Nursing program will admit students twice per year, in both Fall and Winter Quarters.
This change will allow two smaller cohorts of approximately 30 students each to have a more supportive and cohesive learning experience. Smaller cohorts and staggered finishing dates will also make it easier for students to find clinical placements, which give them valuable hands-on experience.
Students interested in applying for the 2016 Winter Quarter cohort can started early by enrolling at Seattle Central College and beginning the nursing application. Prospective students may submit applications between October 26 and November 20 for consideration but may start the application prior to this window.
