First Secretary of Cuban embassy visits campus
The campus community learned more about the past, present and future of Cuba – United States relations.
Last month, Miguel Fraga, the first secretary of the newly-established Cuban Embassy to the United States, in Washington, D.C., visited campus to address students, faculty and staff. Fraga reviewed the history of the relationship between the two countries and offered a glimpse at the future of diplomatic relations. Seattle Central was one stop on his Seattle trip, which also included visits to universities and meetings with local business leaders.
