Seattle Central updates website to better support undocumented students
People without legal immigration status often face misinformation that prevents them attending college. To connect these individuals with the right information, Seattle Central has launched new “Dreamers” webpages to help them enroll and stay in college. The new pages offer an explanation of laws that apply to undocumented students, an overview of financial benefits they could receive and a list of off-campus resources.
The updated pages are part of the ongoing work by a special taskforce that is working to improve access to information for undocumented students in line with the college’s commitment to provide accessible educational opportunities to students from varied backgrounds.
