Smoking shelters open to keep smoke from doorways
Located near the north and south entrances to the BE Building, new shelters provide a designated place for smokers to congregate.
As part of an effort to address concerns over smoking near entrances to campus buildings, smoking shelters have recently been installed. Located near the north and south entrances to the BE Building, these shelters are designed to provide a designated place for smokers to congregate, especially in the winter months when bad weather compels many smokers to stay closer to entrances. In concert with these shelters, Campus Safety officers will ask smokers to move away from entrances to campus buildings and encourage the use of the shelters.
