Message from the president on year-end events
Dear Friends:
We are heading into an exciting time of year at Seattle Central. As this academic year draws to a close, our 50th anniversary celebration will culminate in two very special events.
First, on May 11, our annual Believe Gala will once again bring together friends and supporters of Seattle Central to raise vital scholarship funds. I hope you will join us so we can help more students than ever attend college and build brighter futures.
Then, on June 14, we cordially invite you to our final 50th event, titled, “Central to Inspiration,” a year-end showcase where you can experience firsthand the immense talents of our dedicated students and the skills they are learning to make positive contributions to our community.
We have gathered the best student work from a variety of programs, including compelling visual art from our Graphic Design program, unique clothing from the Apparel Design program, furniture and other creations from the Wood Technology program, and so much more. Additionally, a variety of programs will stage demonstrations, including cooking by Culinary Arts students. This is sure to be an unforgettable way to experience the breadth of our programs, and we hope it can serve to inspire people in our community to pursue higher education and better their lives.
With your presence at these two amazing events, we can ensure Seattle Central concludes its anniversary and begins its next half century on the best possible foundation of support.
Sincerely,
Sheila Edwards Lange, Ph.D.
President
