Olympic trials for basketball held at Seattle Central
Earlier in August, Seattle Central’s Mitchell Activity Center hosted the Red Bull 3X Series, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament that is supported by USA Basketball. All players, men’s and women’s teams, competed for International Basketball Federation (FIBA) points to potentially make up Team USA in the 2020 Summer Olympics. Next year will be the first year that 3-on-3 basketball will be held as an Olympic event.
