President participates in master class abroad
Earlier this month, Seattle Central President Sheila Edwards Lange, Ph.D., traveled to Copenhagen to attend a masterclass on urban livability.
Capitol Hill EcoDistrict staff led a delegation to study world-renowned public spaces and public life in Copenhagen and other European countries to bring home strategies to Capitol Hill. Delegates from the masterclass returned to Seattle with evidence-based practices and professional insight to help develop a shared vision for Capitol Hill’s public spaces. Copenhagen is a global leader in the development of public life in open spaces such as streets, parks, alleys and sidewalks.
