Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dash to support Mainstay’s work with people with disabilities
The Detlef Schrempf Foundation will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dash on March 15 and part of the proceeds will go to Seattle Central’s Mainstay program. Participants are invited to run, jog, walk or crawl the 5K race at their own pace and enjoy a beer in the region’s largest St. Patrick’s Day beer garden in the region. To register for the dash and donate to Mainstay, participants should sign up for “Individual Registration,” and use MAINSTAY as the discount code.
Since 1980, Mainstay has supported people with disabilities in reaching financial and personal independence by matching them with gainful employment in the workplace. Mainstay’s program, S.A.I.L.S. (Supported Academics and Independent Life Skills) provides customized support designed to empower students with Autism Spectrum Disorder to reach their highest potential in college and in their career.
Can’t make it to the dash? You can still support Mainstay’s important work by donating online.
