Notice of Public Hearing – Proposed Changes to Access to Public Records
Comments are invited on proposed changes to chapter 132F-168 of the Seattle Community College District’s Washington Administrative Code (WAC). These changes will update the Access to Public Records WAC to reflect the requirements of the Public Records Act and to streamline the process for making public records requests.
A public hearing to receive comments will be held –

An overview of the proposed revisions will be provided by the Hearing Officer prior to taking comments. Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 pm on February 3rd. Following the hearing, the Hearing Officer will prepare a memorandum summarizing the testimony. The Chancellor’s Executive Cabinet will review the comments and written submissions. Pending action by the Board of Trustees on March 13th, 2014, the new rule will become effective on April 17th, 2014.
