Seattle Central Community College Announces Accreditation Visit
Seattle Central Community College will receive a comprehensive evaluation by its accrediting agency, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, April 16-18, 2012. The purpose of the forthcoming visit is to evaluate the College’s current accreditation status.
Seattle Central Community College currently has the following accreditation status:
Seattle Central Community College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities at the associate degree level and has been granted candidacy at the baccalaureate level.
The last full-scale evaluation received by Seattle Central was in 2005. As a result of that evaluation, the College’s accredited status was reaffirmed. A subsequent regular interim evaluation in 2010 reaffirmed the College’s accreditation.

Comments must be received by the Commission no later than one month before the April 16-18 evaluation visit. Signed comments are forwarded, as received, to Seattle Central Community College, the evaluation committee, and the Commission.
