Employee Service Awards 2024
Seattle Central College celebrated 122 employees and their service to the college at the 2024 Employee Service Awards on June 6. Awards ranged from 5 to 40 years and, in total, awardees represented 1,465 years of service to Central students, fellow employees, and the communities we support.

This event also celebrated the collective contributions of all employees throughout the academic year. Faculty taught more than 12,000 students, which included:
- 2,056 students in Continuing Education
- 1,417 students in BAS programs
- 910 International Students
- 776 Running Start students
- 741 Seattle Promise eligible students
- Faculty taught 3,768 sections
- Math taught 4,595 enrollments
- Over 40,000 appointments were booked in Starfish for advising, tutoring, and support services
These numbers translate to a 7 percent increase enrollment, including a 3.5 percent increase in state-funded full-time equivalents.
